VERMET supplies a wide range of gaskets made of sponge or silicone foam. In addition, you can apply a self-adhesive backing to one or both surfaces to make the application process easier. High temperature adhesives are readily available where applicable. Silicone Sponge Strip is readily available in custom sizes or cut lengths and in rolls of silicone sponge strip of any length, width and thickness. What’s more, the seals can be produced in any shape, depending on the specific application.
Due to the unique temperature ranges of silicone sponge, this material is an excellent choice for applications that include oven seals and strips, lens seals for light fixation and thermal insulation. A sponge or silicone foam can work in temperatures from -40°C to +200°C.
In addition, the silicone sponge or foam has an outer layer of skin that makes it almost impossible for moisture to penetrate. That is why we supply a wide range of weather and glass gaskets made of this material. Our silicone sponge gaskets can also be supplied in a variety of colors including black, gray and white. Silicone sponge strips are an excellent choice for low smoke and/or flame retardant applications.
