Hypalon rubber

Hypalon CSM gaskets are a synthetic chlorosulphonated polyethylene rubber and are commonly used by VERMET for roofing and weathering applications. VERMET manufactures hypalon seals, hypalon rubber seals for various industry sectors.

Properties of Hypalon CSM gaskets

  •  
  • Very good resistance to most chemicals and oils at both high and low temperatures.
  • Good resistance to weathering, oxidation, sunlight and ozone.
  • Good dielectric properties and abrasion resistance.
  • Not suitable for applications requiring resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons and ketones.
