Technical laminates of the board

Types of materials for gaskets made of technical laminates:

TSE glass epoxy sheets

These boards are used as electrical insulating material. Thanks to the breakdown voltage of 15 kV/mm, they can be used in high voltage technology.

Glass-epoxy laminates owe their high mechanical strength to the high content of glass fibre. Thanks to the fully cross-linked epoxy resin, they have high dimensional stability and resistance to high temperatures.

These properties allow the use of glass-epoxy laminate in various constructions, including the defense industry.

The characteristic features are:

  •
  • excellent high voltage properties
  • very low water absorption
  • high mechanical properties, impact strength

Glass-epoxy roving sheets (EPGC205)

A material characterized by an innovative coating for the production of which roving fabric was used. This laminate is characterized by very high impact and delamination resistance.

TCF TEXTOLIT cotton-phenol sheets

TCF cotton-phenolic boards are a high-pressure laminate reinforced with cotton fabric, characterized by exceptional stability of mechanical properties in a wide range of temperatures. The TCF textolite board is distinguished by high resistance to mechanical (including impact) and thermal overloads.

Textolite is an ideal construction material due to its dimensional stability even under heavy loads and at elevated temperatures. Even after exceeding the maximum temperature, the material does not melt, retains its shape, but carbonizes and becomes brittle.

PCF paper-phenolic plates

PCF paper-phenolic boards are special insulating paper saturated with phenolic resins.

The basic properties are exceptional mechanical stability in a wide range of temperatures (continuous operation temperature 130 degrees C).

Its very high dielectric properties mean that, for example, during a fire, the plate does not melt, but chars while retaining its shape

TSS glass-silicone plates

This material is used in conditions where a high-strength electrical insulating material is needed for temporary (up to 400 degrees C) and continuous temperature.

Thanks to the high CTI index of 600V and the V0 flame retardant rating, they can work in high dust and high fire hazard conditions.

Low dielectric permittivity at 1MHz allows operation in high frequency conditions.

The board also has a very low dielectric loss factor tg d.

  •
  • Permissible continuous working temperature 180°C
  • For use in air and oil
  • Very good resistance to electric arc and creepage currents
  • Flammability category FVO
  • Low water absorption

TCM cotton melamine and TSM glass melamine boards

TSM glass-melamine (MFGC) and TCM cotton-melamine (MFCC) boards have a high CTI 600V creepage resistance index and are supplemented to the V0 class. The maximum continuous working temperature is 130 degrees C.
