EPDM foam gaskets are now available in black and in virtually any thickness. When air is injected into a closed cell structure, it naturally becomes a more flexible, more malleable material, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Closed cell EPDM sponge gaskets are naturally compressible, so they are ideal for creating a perfect seal between two surfaces.

Available thicknesses of EPDM foam gaskets

Thicknesses of our EPDM sponge gaskets: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm up to a thickness of 50 mm.

Applications of EPDM sponge gaskets

EPDM sponge is a very versatile base material. It is widely recognized in the automotive, electronics, glass and construction industries. A relatively cheap base material, and even slightly less expensive than neoprene sponge, EPDM sponge is considered a good choice for applications including window seals, anti-vibration seals and shock absorbers.

Micro rubber gaskets can be supplied with a self-adhesive backing to aid in fixing if required. The peel-off carrier is applied to one or both sides of the seal, depending on the application.
