Rubber NO

VERMET manufactures NR rubber seals and NR rubber seals, also known as natural rubber or with slightly different properties, commercial rubber (SBR).

Natural rubber (NR rubber), sometimes referred to as commercial rubber, is a flexible hydrocarbon polymer commonly used by VERMET customers for sealing and cushioning applications where the component is protected from variations in exposure to air.

Our NR rubber seals can be supplied with adhesive and are a relatively cost-effective solution for a variety of sealing applications.

 

VERMET manufactures a wide range of NR rubber gaskets, from simple small series to many thousands of series at the same time.

Application of rubber gaskets NO.:

  •  
  • Suitable for low/medium duty applications.
  • A wide range of hardness at a relatively low price.
  • Excellent physical properties including abrasion resistance, good tensile strength and low compression ratio.
  • Excellent properties at low temperatures.
  • Not suitable for use with solvents including aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons including lubricating oils and gasoline.
