EPDM foam gaskets

EPDM foam gaskets are also available in a high temperature variant up to 128°C, and with a semi-open cell structure if required. We supply EPDM foam rubber tapes to many companies and individuals. In addition, the self-adhesive backing can be applied to one or both surfaces to facilitate the application process. The self-adhesive backing can be added to any EPDM foam gasket.

EPDM foam strips provide excellent sealing in many applications. VERMET often supplies a range of plain or self-adhesive backed EPDM foam tapes to address issues such as airflow control, cushioning, water leaks and vibration issues. In addition, due to the fantastic aging properties of closed cell EPDM foam, this means that the function of the sealing tape will not fail in the event of prolonged exposure in a specific application. EPDM foam is available in various thicknesses ranging from 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm and up to 40mm thick.

General characteristics of EPDM foam gaskets:

• Excellent aging properties and does not crumble over time.

• Available in a wide range – high temperature, hard, soft, super soft.
• Good resistance to UV radiation.

• Wide temperature range.
