FPM rubber

FPM rubber is a synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer, commonly used by VERMET in the production of FPM rubber gaskets, among others, in the automotive industry. Other applications include chemical processing, heavy-duty equipment and where sealing properties are of the utmost importance.

  • Excellent resistance to oils, petrol, acids and high temperatures.
  • Excellent resistance to embrittlement during prolonged exposure to heat.
  • Very low gas permeability.
  • Excellent ozone, oxidation and fire resistance.
  • Not suitable for applications requiring resistance to ketones and paint solvents.
