SBR rubber

SBR rubber seals are very similar to natural rubber in terms of flexibility. SBR rubber has high mechanical resistance (abrasion, tearing). However, it is poorly resistant to oils and fuels.

  • resistance to inorganic acids and bases
  • resistance to brake fluids
  • not resistant to chlorinated hydrocarbons
  • not resistant to aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons
  • not resistant to petrol, oils and mineral greases
  • conducts electricity
  • compression resistant
  • wear-resistant
  • tear resistant
  • does not change properties even at low temperatures
  • little resistant to ozone and solar radiation
  • hardness from 50 to 80 ShA
  • density 1.4 to 1.6g/cm3
  • retains its properties at temperatures from -20 to 70 degrees C
