Seals made of polyethylene pins

Due to the very strong and resilient properties of polyethylene foam gaskets, it is an ideal material for applications involving shock absorption, vibration damping, acoustic and thermal insulation, and cushioning of PE foam strips in packaging applications.

We supply polyethylene foam rubber tapes to many companies and individuals. The self-adhesive backing can be added to any polyethylene foam strip. Polyethylene foam strips provide excellent sealing in many applications. VERMET often supplies a range of plain or self-adhesive backed polyethylene foam strips to address issues such as airflow control, cushioning, water leaks and vibration issues. In addition, due to the relative cheapness of closed-cell polyethylene foam, this means that requirements can be tailored to tight budgets.

General characteristics of polyethylene foam gaskets:

• Closed-cell cross-linked structure, making it impervious to air and water, making it an ideal material for sealing against air and/or water
