Graphite

Graphite gaskets can be divided into three types according to the type of material: graphite plate reinforced with perforated sheet, graphite plate with foil, pure graphite.

Properties of graphite gaskets:

  •  
  • full chemical resistance (acids, bases)
  • high temperature tolerance from -200 to 450 degrees C with oxidizing media
  • easy disassembly, graphite does not stick to the flange, so there are no problems with changing the gasket
  • very good flexibility
  • the ability to maintain a high value of residual stresses
  • high compressive strength
  • perfect for applications where there are variable temperatures and unfavorable chemical conditions
